Cholesterol Testing Service
We now offer free NHS Cholesterol Testing Service.
This is a check-up that can help spot early signs of problems like heart disease and diabetes.
The test can be done by pricking your finger. A drop of blood is put on a strip of paper. This is put into a machine that checks your cholesterol in a few minutes.
What is the New Medicine Service?
NHS cholesterol testing is available at our pharmacy. Many pharmacies offer cholesterol testing as part of the NHS Health Check program for individuals aged 40-74, or as a standalone service. These tests can help identify early risks of heart disease and diabetes
